Chris Brown Makes Some New Friends at Elton Johns Oscar Soiree
Chris Brown (Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images)While Seth MacFarlane was making jokes from the Academy Awards' stage at Chris Brown's expense, the hip-hop star was making the scene at Elton John's Oscar viewing party.
After mingling with host Elton John himself, Brown held court with a smoking crowd outside the restrooms discussing his latest album and the photographers he'd like to use for its various promo shoots. Entertaining two girls and two guys, Brown seemed content to stay on the fringe of the big screening -- one that saw a major reaction to the show's original song performances by Adele and Barbra Streisand.
It wasn't all chat. The "Look at Me Now" singer -- clad in a grayscale printed blazer -- helped a party guest recover when she stepped on her own dress. The flustered female apologized and Brown offered a toothy smile, simply saying: "no judgment."
Additional attendees at the bash include Heidi Klum, Jim Carey, Kim Kardashian, Ian Somerhalder, Emma Roberts and others ... though omg! couldn't spot Brown's lady love, Rihanna, in the glittery crowd.
