Brown believed it was a normal rash from a spray used on the weeds. The next morning, Brown woke up and noticed more spots on his ear, tongue and mouth. The spots had spread all the way up his leg. Brown immediately knew his idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) had returned. ITP is a condition of having an abnormally low platelet count, an illness he had in high school 20 years ago. "It's an immune deficiency where it just attacks the platelets and kill them off," he said. Brown had not had any symptoms since. He checked in to the hospital Monday, had some blood taken and his platelets checked and came out to practice Wednesday. Brown had his blood checked every day. Justin Bieber - Getty Summer is going to rock on the Today Show. Big names like Justin Bieber , Usher , and Chris Brown are among the artists confirmed to perform on the Today Show summer concert series at the Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, NBC announced . Usher, whose new set, Looking For Myself , is due June 12, will kick off the series when he hits the plaza on May 18. Bieber, who will release his new album, Believe , on June 19, will perform on June 15. And with the summer release of his new album, Fortune , approaching, Brown, who brought the biggest crowd in Today Show history to the plaza last July, will take the stage on June 8.
