Adele denies Chris Brown Grammys fight: 'We complimented each other'

Adele has cleared up rumours of a Grammy Awards fight between herself and Chris Brown.

The 'Skyfall' singer said on her Twitter account that the two were actually exchanging compliments during the February 10 event.

Although Adele looked to be shouting at Brown in a photograph taken at the ceremony, she wrote: "Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!"

The singer's explanation comes after speculation of a fight between the two artists based on the photograph.

Talk of a dispute between the pair began when it was noted that Brown did not stand in honour of Frank Ocean's Grammy win for 'Best Urban Contemporary Album', and Adele was seen on camera glancing in his direction.

Brown and Ocean were reportedly involved in an altercation at a Los Angeles recording studio last month, and an investigation into the incident recently closed with neither party pressing charges against the other.

As for now, it appears that Brown and Adele - who took home the Grammy for 'Best Pop Solo Performance' on Sunday - are in good standing with one another.
