Miami Beach Police Department has confirmed that Christal Spann filed a report on Sunday alleging "robbery by sudden snatching".

Chris Brown: 'Turn Up The Music' still

According to TMZ, 24-year-old Spann took a picture of Brown on her iPhone after following him and rapper Tyga out of Florida venue Cameo.

She claimed that shortly after taking a picture of Brown getting into a Bentley car, the 'Turn Up the Music' singer grabbed her device and drove off with it. He is alleged to have said: "Bitch, you ain't going to put that on no website."

The incident is currently under investigation, although no arrests have yet been made and no warrant issued.

As Brown is still on probation for assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna, the 22-year-old could potentially be sent to jail for a probation violation if taken in by officers because of this incident.

The Grammy-winning singer's representatives have not yet commented on the allegations.
