Chris Brown accused of 'robbery by sudden snatching'

Chris Brown has been accused of snatching a woman's iPhone outside a Miami club this weekend and driving off without returning it.

TMZ reports that 24-year-old Christal Spann has filed a police report alleging that Brown committed "robbery by sudden snatching," taking her cellphone. According to her report, Spann was inside Cameo nightclub in the wee hours of Saturday night when she saw Brown exit the club with rapper Tyga. She followed the star out and took a photo with her phone of him getting into his car, a Bentley.

Chris Brown has been accused of stealing a woman's iPhone. If he is charged, his probation could be revoked.

Spann claims that Brown became agitated when he saw her snap the photo. She alleges that he drove by her and rolled down the car window. He supposedly reached out and grabbed the phone allegedly saying, "[Bleep], you ain't going to put that on no website."

He reportedly drove off with the phone. It's unclear if the item has been returned to Spann.

The Miami Beach Police Department tells TMZ that the case is still under investigation and that no warrants have been issued.

However, if Brown is charged in the crime, it could mean big trouble for the star. After pleading guilty to assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards, Brown received five years pro! bation. Any new charges could dredge up the old ones for the "Turn Up the Music" singer.

TMZ reports that the case is being watched closely by the district attorney who prosecuted Brown in the Rihanna assault case. If an arrest warrant is issued for the alleged iPhone snatching, Brown's probation could be revoked and he could potentially wind up doing time in prison.

While many still hold hard feelings against Brown on Rihanna's behalf, the "We Found Love" singer appears to have forgiven her former boyfriend. Brown and Rihanna recently contributed vocals to each other's remixes in a signal of friendship, three years after their lovers quarrel turned physical.
