Chris Brown Admits Love Rivals Rihanna And Karrueche Tran Confrontation Last Summer

Chris Brown has opened up about the moment his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran and current squeeze Rihanna came face to face last summer while all three were partying in the South of France.

At the time the Kiss Kiss singer was still with his Vietnamese girlfriend, who he later broke up with to be with the Diamonds singer. The 23 year-old was linked with both women last year in an ongoing love triangle that couldn't stay out the headlines and admitted when the girls came face to face during a party last summer he feared there would be a "huge scene".

"One time I was overseas," he said during a radio interview in the US, "I had a girlfriend (Tran) but I was still talking to Rihanna,"

"(There was) a party on this big boat and my girl was there, and maybe 15 minutes later, Rihanna showed up."

He explained: "But I'm on the boat like, 'Oh, s**t, what am I gonna do right now?' But you know what? They were cool. They spoke to each other and I was like, 'Woah'. I was just like, 'Please, please, please (don't start a scene)', but honestly that was the first time I can say I knew they loved me because they were classy."

Brown praised both as "wonderful women", for the way they handled the situation. When both Chris and Rihanna were both in Cannes at the same time there were rumours the couple were secretly hooking up.

Referring to his now ex-girlfriend Tran, who he split with in October after two years together he claimed they were still close, despite leaving her for the Stay singer.

"We're cool man," he claimed, "I wish it could be better because of obvious reasons, but I think it's better to see her happy and successful... She still does the clothing line with me, so it's still a camaraderie between us."

Chris and Rihanna went public with their rekindled romance in December 2012 and have both spoken out since about moving on from the assault charges that ended their relationship the first time around.
