CONTROVERSIAL singer Chris Brown has found himself the target of a Twitter hate campaign after a 'photograph' of him allegedly having sex with two men went viral.

Tagged "Chris Brown Gay", the photoshopped image has became a trending topic on the social networking site.

It depicts Brown's likeness naked and in the middle of a sex act with two men whose faces are hidden.

Some Twitter users joked that one of them might be US rapper Frank Ocean, who recently revealed that he is gay.

Others tweeted in defence of the singer after apparently tracking down the same image showing another man in place of the Grammy Award winner.

@serrawtf said, "that Chris Brown picture is obviously not real even if he did do th! at he wo uldnt be dumb enough to let someone in plain sight take a picture."

@BckWoodBaby was also skeptical, "I dont believe thats chris brown lol internet can fool a lot of yaw with jus a few arrangements lol smh".

@ZanWithDatTweet tweeted, "Lmao Chris Brown a fruit cake."

While Brown has yet to comment on the image, it's not the first time rumours about his sexuality have circulated.

In May this year, singer Raz B - who founded popular R&B group B2K - claimed Brown was gay in his unreleased book The Boy's Life. Brown threatened him with legal action.

Raz B reportedly became upset with Brown after the two engaged in a public Twitter feud last year.

Brown has had an acrimonious relationship with the public, the media and his peers since he assaulted pop superstar Rihanna in 2009 and is known for throwing tantrums when things don't go his way.

The Rihanna incident sparked a tide of anti-Brown sentiment that never really ended. His Grammy win earlier this year sparked a hate campaign which mostly played out on Twitter.

Brown's ex was blissfully unaware of the latest drama playing out in Brown's life, tweeting racy pictures of herself partying in Barbados and drinking alcohol from a bucket .

The 24-year-old has just been dropped as the face of Nivea, with the company stating she was too sexy for its family image.
