Chris Brown not attending MTV Video Music Awards 2012
Chris Brown will not be reuniting with Rihanna at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.
It was reported last week that MTV producers wanted Brown to have a run-in with rival Drake or former love Rihanna at the September 6 awards ceremony.
"[The producers] are hoping a fight breaks out. Ratings galore," a supposed insider claimed.
Brown's spokesperson has now denied that there is any chance of such an altercation.
"[Chris] will not be at the VMAs in any capacity," his representative told Gossip Cop.
Brown is nominated for two Video Music Awards this year, while Rihanna and Drake are up for multiple trophies as well. Rihanna will also perform on the show.
Kevin Hart hosts the MTV Video Music Awards 2012, airing from Los Angeles on September 6.
