Chris Brown's mum: I speak to Rihanna EVERY DAY

Since her interview with Oprah, we knew that Rihanna was still in touch with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

But Chriss mum, Joyce Hawkins, has let the cat out of the bag a bit, telling her 62,000 followers that she speaks to Rihanna EVERY DAY.

Just so everyone knows how in touch they are, Rihanna then favourited the tweet.

We here at heat told you two weeks ago that Rihanna and Chris were taking steps to publicly reveal they were getting back together after meeting in St Tropez and now it seems Joyce has left her followers in no doubt as to how close the former couple are.

Chris and Rihanna split in 2009, after he was arrested for attacking her during an argument.

But speaking on Oprah on Sunday, Rihanna admitted Brown was the love of her life, adding: We've been working on our friendship again, and now we're very, very close friends. We built up a trust again.

Its awkward because I still love him.

On Monday, Joyce, who has a close relationship with Chriss fans, calling them Angels appeared to attack Rihanna, tweeting: TELL THE TRUTH AND SET YOURSELF FREE.

But after several people speculated Joyce was having a dig at Rihanna, she again took to her twitter page this afternoon saying: ALLOW PPL TO ASSUME WHAT THEY MUST TO MAKE A STORY. IF I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY TO RIH I WILL DO JUST THAT WE SPEAK EVERY DAY.
