Rihanna unfollows Chris Brown on Twitter

Rihanna has finally unfollowed her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on Twitter.

While the two announced their rekindled friendship by collaborating on two racy remixes in February, Rihanna no longer appears chummy with the boyfriend who sent her to the hospital after a lovers' quarrel turned physical in 2009.

TMZ points out that Rihanna unfollowed Brown just hours after he released a song which might have been targeted at the "Umbrella" singer. A remix of Kanye West's "TheraFlu," the song in which West revealed that he had feelings for Kim Kardashian, Brown's version of the song sounds far more hostile.

Chris Brown and Rihanna in happier times in 2008. After becoming friends again, the two have unfriended each other.

"Don't [bleep] with my old bitches," Brown rhymes in the song. "Like a bad fur ... every industry [bleep] done had her."

He also continues in the song, "Trick or treat like a pumpkin ... just to smash her."

The lyrics are potentially a reference to the former couple's pre-Grammy Awards fight in 2009. After their skirmish, Brown plead guilty to assaulting Rihanna. He received six months of community service and five years of probation as punishment.

While many are applauding Rihanna for finally cutting her Twitter tie to her ex, Brown himself didn't seem excited about her move. Shortly after he unfollowed her too.
