Rihanna and Chris Brown no longer follow each other on Twitter

A song brought them together, and now it seems a song has also brought them apart.

According to E! Online, Rihanna and Chris Brown stopped following each other on Twitter after Rihanna was reportedly upset by Chris Browns remix of Kanye Wests Way Too Cold. In the remix, the Turn Up the Music singer, 23, raps a line that many believe is a diss to the Where Have You Been singer, 24.

"Dont f--k with my old bitches/like a bad fur/every industry n---a done had her/trick or treat like a pumpkin/ just to smash her/Bitch is breaking codes, but I'm the password," he raps.

The Huffington Post reports that soon after Browns remix hit the Internet, Rihanna stopped following him. Not too long after Rihanna stopped following Brown, he responded by no longer following Rihanna as well. He also wrote a telling tweet.

Assumptions! I didn't say any names so if u took offense to it then its something you feel guilty about, he wrote, not naming names.

Rihanna and Chris Brown have a long and controversial history. While it seems a song caused Rihanna to unfollow the singer, it was music that put them together again after Browns pre-Grammy assault on Rihanna in 2009. They recently reunited on each others remixes. Brown had a sexually suggestive verse in Birthday Cake and Rihanna was featured on the Turn Up the Music remix.
