Taraji P. Henson: 'Chris Brown Should Be Forgiven For Beating Rihanna'

Taraji P. Henson says that the public should forgive Chris Brown for assaulting Rihanna.

The stunning actress worked alongside Chris recently when he made a cameo appearance in her upcoming rom-com Think Like A Man. While Chris is still being chastised for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, Taraji says it's time to allow him to move on with his career.

"I don't dislike Chris Brown. I feel like we all have our skeletons," Taraji told Vulture magazine.

"It's unfortunate when you're in the limelight the world gets to know about your dirty laundry, but as humans, we all have it, so for me to stand back and judge him and say that what he did was - is what he did wrong? Absolutely. I'm not condoning it."

While Taraji does admit that Chris was wrong for his actions on that infamous night, she says he is allowed to make mistakes like everybody else. "But what I'm saying is we have to allow each other to be human and we have to allow humans to make mistakes and to be big enough to forgive them," she said.

"I guarantee you if you could give him those five minutes back, he would change it."
