Chris Brown delays new album 'Fortune' release

Chris Brown has confirmed the delay of his fifth studio album.

The singer was scheduled to release new record Fortune in the UK on May 7 and the US on May 8, but has now announced that it will not be available until July 3.

"Team Breezy! The official album date for FORTUNE is July 3, 2012," he tweeted.

Fortune will contain Brown's latest single 'Turn Up The Music', as well as upcoming tracks 'Till I Die' and 'Sweet Love'.

It will serve as the follow-up to 2011's F.A.M.E., which reached number one in the US and number 10 in the UK.
