Rihanna: Willingness To Jump Into Chris Brown Relationship A Mistake?

Rihanna seems to be jumping right back into a relationship with Chris, now that hes finally single, but Im not sure this is such a good idea for the pop princess! Read on to find out why.

After a series of steamy nights in NYC in early October with Rihanna, Chris Brown ended things with his long-suffering girlfriend Karrueche Tran, which he confirmed with HollywoodLife.com on Oct. 4. Now that both Chris and Rihanna are single, it seems like the infamous exes are ready to get hot and heavy again. But, is that the best move for Rihanna?

While Rihanna, 24, is obviously still deeply in love with Chris, 23, has she forgotten about what he put her through? I understand that Chris has had an opportunity to grow since that horrific night in 2009 when he assaulted Rihanna, and Im hopeful that he is a different person than the one he was on that dark night. But does that mean that Rihanna should so quickly return to the relationship that once put her through such horror?

Rihanna Forgives Chris Brown

Its admirable that Rihanna has found it within herself to forgive Chris, theres no denying that. But theres a stark difference between forgiving someone and potentially putting yourself back in harms way, whether that harm be physical or simply emotional. Chris doesnt seem to b! e able to! have a mature relationship at this point in his life. Look at the little concern he showed for Karrueche before breaking up with her.

Sources tell us that Chris is going to try to be faithful to Rihanna. Try? He owes her much more than that.

Rihanna, love is hard and rarely makes sense. We often find ourselves helplessly connected to someone we know we shouldnt. But the mark of an adult is to recognize that a situation is unhealthy and remove yourself from it no matter how hard that may be. Please, take some time and decide whether a second go-round with Chris is a healthy move for you. You owe that to yourself.
