Rihanna dad backs Chris Brown reunion: They've always loved each other

Rihanna and Chris Brown have 'always loved each other' and are a great couple, according to Ronald Fenty.

Rihanna's father reportedly told In Touch magazine that he is happy to see the pair spending time together again, as his daughter is happiest when she is with the 'Don't Wake Me Up' star.

"I know they love each other. They always have," he explained. "She's happiest when she's around him, and as long as she's happy, I am happy and the whole world should be too."

Elaborating on why he is such a fan of Brown, Fenty said he is "super-talented", and has "respect" for Rihanna's family.

Referring to Brown's 2009 domestic assault charge against Rihanna, Fenty said: "I think everyone makes mistakes and they shouldn't be held to them forever. Everyone should be forgiven once. There's a lot more to Chris than the whole world knows.

"I love Chris, man. He's got so much charisma. And he's always had so much respect for me. That's what I love about him. He's always shown me respect."

Brown recently split with girlfriend Karrueche Tran over his relationship with Rihanna.
