Rihanna and Chris Brown are reportedly set to go public with their reconciled relationship on the AMA red carpet, and now sources are coming forward to reveal that RiRi has been taking "advice" from Chris Brown's mum ahead of the event...

Inside sources have revealed to Hollywood Life that Rihanna and Ma Brown have been hanging out like "two bad b*tches" and reconnecting following her split from Chris Brown three years ago.

"For your info, shes been reconnecting with Joyce and they had dinner the other day...They talked about life and whats important in life and of course you know they talked about Chris."

"I aint about to get into specifics about what their conversation was about but I know Joyce loves my girl and always thought highly of her.

They were laughing the entire time, talking about the old days and talking about her music and Chris music - they had a bomb time. They kicked it like young girlfriends.

And it apparently seems as if, despite the fact the two were having fun, the main focus of the conversation was a serious one; Rihanna and Joyce were talking about RiRi's rumoured reconciliation with the ex boyfriend who violently assaulted her three years ago:

I know Joyce gave her so advice about Chris and told [her] Chris loves her so much and Ri was like Yeah, I know and they just bonded like two bad b**ches.
