Chris Brown's latest tattoo may have caused shockwaves across the media - but the reaction everyone cares the most about is that of his ex, Rihanna.The tattoo features a woman who appears to have a blackened eye and torn lip, and is believed to resemble the picture of Rihanna after he attacked her in 2009.

An insider told Look magazine that Rihanna was shocked by the selfish nature of Chris' inking.

"He must've known what people would think. But that's typical of Chris - he never thinks about anyone but himself. It's a painful reminder for Rihanna of what she went through."

Rihanna is said to have been considering a reconcilliation with Chris after they spent time together at the MTV Video Music Awards. Howevever, according to the source, Rihanna has ruled this out.

"This has thrown [her]. She's been calling Chris to say the tattoo is sickening and she's furious."

Last month Rihanna told Oprah Winfrey that Chris Brown was the love of her life.
