Chris Brown went back to daycare... for community service

Singer Chris Brown has been working community service hours in his home state of Virginia since January 2010, as he was ordered to do after pleading guilty to beating his then girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009. This week documents were submitted by Browns supervisor, Richmonds Police Chief Bryan T. Norwood, to Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg, indicating that Brown has completed 1,400 hours of community labor, which finishes his sentence.

The New York Post is reporting that Brown did a large majority of his service hours at his former daycare where he spent many years as a child. This is the same daycare center where Browns mother also worked as a director for 24 years.

Apparently, the account of the hours Brown has logged changed dramatically, as the records show in the last seven months the singer has logged 701 hours, but previously that same amount of hours took him 28 months to finish, as indicated by TheHuffingtonPost.

From what the records indicate, Brown has been doing clean up duty for the Richmond police precincts during the day, janitor duties at the daycare during the night, and all the while still performing his music and releasing an album.

This lends the question as to whether Brown actually did the work required.

Inquiries from the Los Angeles probation officials were welcomed by Browns attorney Mark Geragos. Geragos says he is the person who told Brown to work double shifts.
