Donald Trump may not have a thing for windmills in Palm Springs, but Chris Brown certainly does.

The desert, windmills, hot sands and an apocalyptic feel is the setting created in Chris Browns new video Dont Judge Me, produced by Riveting Entertainment, co-directed by Brown and shot near Garnet Station Road in Palm Springs.

Andrew Listermann, CEO of Riveting Entertainment and whose family is from the area, enjoys working with Brown. He said, Its always great working with him. Hes like family.

Shooting a video in a desert setting is something Brown has wanted to do for a while. There arent many places like Palm Springs, Listermann added. Listermann wanted to keep things as genuine and authentic as possible. The natural heat adds to the cinematography, he said.

Once the video was done and uploaded to Vimeo, Brown took to Twitter. He told his 11.2 million Twitter followers, Thank you to all the fans that love the video! First time @colintilley and I have collaborated directing creatively.

The video, which was Browns idea, starts out with Brown walking through what seems to be a barren wastleand by himself on a dirt path with a camouflaged backpack on, a white tee shirt, dog tags and what seems to be a digital, self-indentification barcode on his neck. Oh yeah, we cant forget about his pair of aviators, diamond earrings and his new blonde-haired look; these days, you have to stay fly, even when the world is about to end. Then Brown proceeds to jump into a futuristic, army-esque transit vehicle by himself.

His lyrics go on to say,

Youre hearing rumors about meAnd you cant stomach the thoughtOf someone touching my bodyWhen youre so close to my heart! I wont deny what theyre sayingBecause most of it is trueBut it was all before I fell for you

Its unclear whether or not Brown is referring to the tumultuous relationship with Rihanna or a new relationship, but there is sure to be much Internet speculation on all of this. Rumors have already circulated that Brown may be talking with former Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger.

The second verse picks up in pace with a simple snare drum and a solid, one-tone bass. Brown is in a blue jumpsuit, which has his clothing line Black Pyramid shown on the back. Hes on a military base where there is much more action occurring. Soldiers seem to be asking Brown for his identification as he passes multiple security checkpoints before boarding the last flight of his life.

Before Brown gets to board his shaceship, a reporter confronts Brown saying how people think what hes doing is a suicide mission -- which it actually is. She then asks, Why are you doing this? He responds Im doing a service for my countryand my planet and if that means saving the people I love and care about, then thats what Ill do.

The last part of the video is where Browns acting skills are shown. As he sings, Take me as I am/Not who I was/I promise Ill be the one that you can trust/So please dont judge me, Brown boards a spaceship in tears asking for forgiveness. As he makes his last plea, his spaceship veers into an alien craft, annihilating both crafts upon contact. By doing this, Brown was destroying evil according to Listermann.

So far, the video has received positive reviews from his fans. Some fans even talk about how Browns acting made them drop a few tears.
