Chris Brown To Be Formally Questioned Over Phone Theft As Rihanna Vows To Stand By Him

Things arent looking good for Chris Brown as it is revealed he will be formally interviewed in connection with allegation that he stole a phone outside of a nightclub in Miami.

The Florida State Attorneys Office want to speak to the F.A.M.E singer regarding the accusations according to Radar Online. He allegedly stole a phone from a fan after she took a photo of him exiting a club in Miami two weeks ago.

The source revealed: "The Florida State's Attorney's Office has asked Chris' attorney, Mark Geragos, for the opportunity to formally interview Chris.

At this point it appears that won't happen, which isn't uncommon."The prosecutor handling the case is working with the cops in interviewing the alleged victim and the witnesses."

The singer is currently halfway through a five year probation for attacking then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 and even being charged with an offence would violate those terms.

An insider said: The conditions of his felony probation are very, very strict. Chris must obey all laws and not be arrested for any other crimes. This could be a huge nightmare for his probation if he is arrested and charged.

The 22 year-old is said to have told friends he had done nothing wrong and despite his past even rumoured girlfriend Rihanna is sticking by him.

A source told Radar Online: "Chris told Rihanna that he absolutely 1000% didn't steal that phone, and Rihanna has told him she believes him. Rihanna has also told Chris that she will stand by him during the investigation, and whatever the future holds.

Far from pushing the pair apart it only brought the alleged lovers closer and was extremely humbling for the Beautiful People' star given their past.

The source went on: He told her how much he appreciated her unwavering support to him, despite the criticism she has endured for recording songs with Chris and welcoming him back into her life.
