R&B singer Chris Brown has the Internet buzzing as a new audio clip of his 911 call from last month, moments following a publicized car wreck, has landed online.

In the audio, Chris Breezy is heard referring to himself by his full first name after a female describes what took place.

Chris Brown calls himself "Christopher" when he's scared ... at least judging by the 911 call that was placed moments after the singer totaled his Porsche in a paparazzi chase last month. Minutes after the February 9 crash, a witness called 911 ... and told the operator Brown's car had smashed into a wall in an alley in Beverly Hills. The operator asked to speak with Brown (who identified himself as "Christopher") ... and the singer explained how the paparazzi had been chasing him in another vehicle ... and dangerously cut him off. Since the messy wreck took place, Brown has stood behind blaming the paparazzi for influencing what happened.

Brown says the paparazzi "blocked me off and stopped so I had to swerve" ... causing him to lose control and crash. Brown says he wa! s not injured in the accident ... but claims the paparazzi responsible for the incident fled the scene before emergency responders arrived. As for the police investigation into the accident -- law enforcement tells us, it's case closed ... cops couldn't prove the paps were involved. (TMZ)

After the accident, reports suggested Brown wanted to pursue legal action.

Chris Brown plans to sue the paparazzi, who he alleges were responsible for him crashing his car in an alley in Los Angeles on Saturday. Now, Brown wants to take legal action against the paparazzi, who reportedly are saying they had nothing to do with the accident, and only arrived on the sceneafter he had crashed. A rep for Brown tells Gossip Cop, "We plan on seeking criminal charges and holding them civilly liable." (Gossip Cop)

Even the accused paparazzi have come forward to speak on their tainted image.

The paparazzi are telling Chris Brown it's time for "no B.S." Photographers say they aren't the reason the R&B trainwreck crashed his black Porsche Saturday in Beverly Hills, despite Brown's claim he was the subject of an "aggressive pursuit" that caused him to smash into a wall in an alleyway. "No photographers were following him at the time he crashed," Chris Doherty, the owner of INF photo agency told the celebrity website TMZ. "He crashed his car and it's convenient for him to blame us. He needs to be careful with his defamatory statements." (NY Daily News)
