Site of Chris Brown/Drake bottle brawl set to reopen

The New York nightclub that played host to the now-infamous Drake/Chris Brown heavyweight smackdown is set to reopen tomorrow.

The club, Greenhouse, closed after the two went head-to-head in the clubs V.I.P. lounge last month. While the city agreed to let the club reopen with enhanced security, Greenhouse stayed closed because its liquor license remained suspended. According to Fox News, the State Liquor Board argued that the club had a history of fights and assaults.

But yesterday, Manhattan state Supreme Court Justice Geoffrey Wright agreed to temporarily reinstate the businesss liquor license while the court decides whether it can be permanently reinstated.

Spokespeople for Greenhouse which has 250 employees were overjoyed with the ruling and excited for the club to reopen its doors.

According to CBS News, the club will redouble its efforts to provide a safe and fun atmosphere. That means one thing: plastic cups only!
The melee began when members of Drakes entourage stopped Brown as he was leaving, and the confrontation escalated into a bottle-throwing brawl. Brown and San Antonio spurs star Tony Parker were among those injured.

Parker, who was scratched in the eye by a piece of flying glass, feared that he might not be able to play for France in the upcoming Olympics. Fortunately, the NBA All-Star recently got the green light from doctors to continue playing.

But the club isnt out of the woods yet. Parker is reportedly suing the club for $20 million. And theyre going to have to sell a lot of booze to pay those court fees.
