News: Chris Brown Earns First No.1 Album In The UK

With songs like "Don't Wake Me Up" and "Turn Up The Music," ChrisBrown has clinched his first no.1 charting album in the UK.

According to the Official Charts Company, Brown's fifth studio album,"Fortune," debuted at no.1 Sunday.

"The 23-year-old US R&B singer's fifth full-length album has knocked Linkin Park's Living Things off the top spot, outselling its closest competitor, Maroon 5's Overexposed (Number 2) by 11,000 copies," the Official Charts Company reports.

With collaborations with Nas, Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa, the album isBrown's anticipated follow up to "F.A.M.E." That album earned a Grammyearlier this year.

Official stateside (U.S.) sales figures and standings will be madeavailable later this week. "Fortune" is expected to top theBillboard 200 Albums Chart.
