Chris Brown on course for first UK No.1 album with 'Fortune'

Chris Brown is on course to claim his first ever UK number one album, while Maroon 5 look set to return to the top of the singles chart.

The Adam Levine-fronted band move up to number one with 'Payphone' on the midweek singles chart update, while Brown is at two with 'Don't Wake Me Up'.

will.i.am slips from the top spot to three with 'This Is Love', Flo Rida is at four with 'Whistle' and Stooshe move up to five with 'Black Heart'.

Katy Perry remains at 10 with 'Wide Awake', Nicki Minaj's 'Pound The Alarm' is up to 20 and Blur are a new entry at 28 with 'Under The Westway'.

Over on the album tally, Chris Brown's fifth studio record Fortune is on course to hit the top.

Maroon 5's Overexposed stays put at two, while Linkin Park's Living Things slides to three.

Elsewhere, The Stones Roses' Very Best Of collection is up to number eight following their Heaton Park gigs and fun.'s Some Nights moves up to 15.
