Timeline: Chris Brown, Rihanna and Drake's Love/Hate Triangle

Recently, Chris Brown and Drake made headlines for a club brawl, which reportedly started over Brown's former lover and current pop star, Rihanna. Here's a timeline of the events before and after the brawl.

February 8, 2009 - Brown and Rihanna are involved in a physical altercation, which leaves Rihanna with visible injuries on her face and body. The resulting scandal ended with Brown pleading guilty to a felony, and the couple split. Brown served five years of probation. June 9th, 2012 - The New York Post's Page Six reported that Rihanna and Brown "sat together" on a couch at Jay-Z's 40/40 party. Brown's girlfriend, Karrueche Tran , was not at the party. Brown and Rihanna also visited a nightclub together that weekend. June 14th, 2012 - Drake and Chris Brown were allegedly involved in an altercation at the WIP nightclub in New York City. While there's still confusion surrounding the details of the brawl, Brown's attorney claims that Drake "threw glassware." Brown immediately left the club during the brawl and later posted pictures of injuries on Twitter.

Brown's attorney also claimed that the NYPD would likely arrest Drake and members of his entourage. There's still no official confirmation as to the cause of the fight, but gossip blogs quickly suggested that a Brown-Drake-Rihanna love triangle played a role.

A source close to Rihanna told HollywoodLife that the singer was "distraught" over the Brown-Drake altercation. "She clearly doesn't want anyone fighting and especially not over her," said the source. "She saw the pic Chris tweeted [showing injuries] and her face turned upside down. She's a little distraught over! this an d hopes both of them are all right."

June 15th, 2012 - Drake performed in New York City and apparently referenced the incident. According to the New York Daily News, Drake freestyled a verse during his show in which he said, ""It's last call and you're really too drunk to give a f-," he said. "A n-- in the corner is standing there looking at you funny. You bump elbows with him on the way to the bathroom, but really there's only one n-- that you got to think about."

June 18th, 2012 -

Meek Mill, a member of Drake's entourage and rapper, claimed that Drake didn't throw the bottle the started the brawl. He also claimed that the entire situation was blown out of proportion, and that things getting "out of hand" didn't mean that there were personal problems between Drake and Brown.

Meanwhile, HollywoodLife reported that Chris Brown will not be charged for his role in the brawl.

June 19th, 2012

- Rihanna reportedly said that she wanted to attend the BET Awards to support Chris Brown and complained about leaving New York, possibly because of her renewed relationship with the R&B star. However, we cannot confirm that their relationship is rekindled, as neither star has admitted to any romantic involvement.
