Brown spoke with investigating officers earlier on Thursday (June 14), according to TMZ, and is reportedly being treated as a witness to the incident and a victim. Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos is also believed to have presented evidence to the NYPD.

The fight leading to Brown's injuries was reported to have taken place following a fall-out between the musician and rapper Drake. However, law enforcement sources told the publication that Drake is not currently a suspect in the investigation.

Drake released a statement on Thursday afternoon strenuously denying any involvement in the incident.

Saying that he was on his way out of the venue when the altercation took place, a spokesperson for Drake added that the 'Take Care' star "did not engage in any ! activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property".

Brown's bodyguard Big Pat and a female bystander are also thought to have been injured in the scuffle.
