Drake/Chris Brown Update: Tony Parker Sues Bar Brawl Nightclub

Drake, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Ne-Yo, Meek Mill: aerial bottle service must be totally hot right now, because reviewing the guestlist from the June 14 dust-up at Manhattan's W.i.P. club, you've got to wonder who wasn't dodging airborne champers at 3 a.m. Tony Parker, for instance -- San Antonio Spurs point guard and former Mr. Eva Longoria -- was caught up in the bar brawl, too. The NBA player claims he somehow scratched his cornea in the mess, an injury that's sidelined him from his Olympic practices. (Parker will play for France in the Summer Olympics.) And as a result, Parker has sued the nightclub for $20 million, The New York Post reports, claiming that the whole incident could have been prevented if they'd had better security.

Or, more specifically, if security had booted Breezy and/or Drizzy from the premises. As per court docs obtained by the Post: "The defendants were reckless, careless and negligent in permitting Drakes entourage and Browns entourage to be in the club at the same time despite known tension between the two." That "tension" answers to the name Rihanna, apparently. "She's been known, like Helen of Troy, to cause trouble," Parker's lawyer, David Jaroslawicz, told the Post, speaking of the "We Found Love" pop star.

But Parker doesn't actually blame Brown or Drake in his lawsuit, the Post notes. (Following initial reports of a bar fight, Drake's reps denied any wrongdoing, saying the Toronto rapper "was on the way out of the club when the altercation began." As for Brown, he's also claimed innocence. Rapper Meek Mill, who was at the scene, backed up both pop stars' claims, telling XXL magazine this week that neither of them was involved in the fight. "I never! seen Ch ris Brown or Drake throw a bottle and I was there," Mill said.)

And Parker's lawyer maintains that W.i.P's owners were to blame for the scene that left several injured, and the club destroyed.

According to the suit, Parker wasn't an official member of Team Drizzy or Breezy the night of the incident, but the documents note he was "with my friend Chris Brown" when the fight erupted. "Me and my friends took some punches," said the athlete. "They started throwing bottles everywhere."

A rep for W.i.P declined the Post's request for comment. According to E! News, the club was shuttered Saturday by police. The Chris Brown/Drake/Parker/etc. incident was one of several past violations. The outlet also notes that the club's manager was arrested last Friday on an outstanding noise-complaint warrant.
