Santa came early this year, folks. It seems that so many people were devastated that Chris Brown took a leave of the Twittersphere after the verbal spar between himself and comedian Jenny Johnson, that Santa got on his sleigh and ho-ho-hod his way over to the chimney of the troubled artist in order to place a nice shiny new twitter account under his Christmas tree. Yeah, right. In reality, all we REALLY know is that he reactivated his account. He has yet to post anything to his 11 million followers.

The tweets heard round the world between Chris Brown and Jenny Johnson let Chris to deactivate his account for less than a week. I personally think one of his handlers did it to keep Chris from continuing to take the bait Jenny was casting out, but truthfully, well never know. His return to Twitter has been swift, however, he has yet to tweet anything. His most recent post on instagram is a picture of himself smoking a cigarette next to a very scantily clad Rihanna wrapped in a camo blanket. While the American Idol guest performer has a very sultry look on her face, some people are saying it looks as if she has a black eye hidden under the blanket.

In other Chris-Brown-and-his-anger-problems news, he will not face charges after destroying a phone belonging to a Miami fan. Back in February, Chriss limo was surrounded by fans, and one such fan got a shot of Chris in the limo with two women. Reports say he flew into a profanity laced rage, grabbed the phone, and threw it out of the limo. Chris Browns lawyer released a statement today regarding the case, saying We are grateful for the decision and the thorough investigation. So, once again Chris brown gets off scott-free.

Chris has been quoted as saying hes becoming a more mature, calmer guy; we have yet to see that evidenced. In a interview that predated his latest twitter meltdown, Chris said I used to use my Twitter account to vent, but now I mostly use it for marketing and promotions. Even if the media asks me something, if its cool then its Whats up? But ! if its an! ything thats too negative, I dont care to respond.

Cue the crickets. It seems like Chris has a lot of growing up left to do. What do you think?
