Bobby Brown Defends Chris Brown: 'He's Incredible'
Bobby Brown has defended his fellow bad boy Chris Brown against the constant criticism he receives, describing him as "incredible."
The New Edition singer is no stranger to bad press having had a bad boy image throughout most of his career - mainly due to his drug-fuelled marriage to Whitney Houston, so it's no surprise that he can relate to Chris who has received a bad rap ever since he assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
Bobby believes it's time people move on from the incident and allow Chris to succeed in his career.
"Chris Brown is incredible. He's an incredible dancer, incredible singer. I respect him a lot because he's held his head up throughout everything that he's been through," Bobby told MTV.
"He's only been through a little bit, but the boy is talented and you can't take talent away. Talent is given from God, you can't learn what he does. He's a bona fide entertainer and he should be respected."
Bobby adds he is confident Chris will have a lengthy career in the industry.
"He's still young and he's got a long way to go. I'm 30 years deep into this entertainment thing and I could see him 30 years from now, still doing what he does - flipping and singing and dancing," he said.
Bobby isn't the only celebrity with Chris' back - Cheryl Cole also defended the singer recently.
