Chris Brown addresses gang member confrontation: 'I kept walking'

Chris Brown has spoken out about being confronted by a professed gang member in Los Angeles last week.

A photographer for TMZ captured Brown leaving the Playhouse, where the 'Forever' singer was confronted by a man claiming to be a member of the Crips gang.

The unnamed man appeared to threaten Brown by asking if his limousine was bullet-proof, but Brown soon left the scene without any physical violence occurring.

Brown later spoke to the website about the incident, insisting that he was not at all bothered by the altercation.

"It's LA brother," he joked, adding: "You just gotta keep your head down and keep walking."

Brown is currently embroiled in a lawsuit against Drake over an alleged brawl between their entourages at the WIP nightclub in New York Cit! y last June.

The musician is also facing a possible probation violation in his assault case for alleged discrepancies in his court-ordered community service.
