The singer convicted of assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 let rip at a flock of seagulls that had gathered on his sandy patch.

Brown looked delighted after terrifying the winged creatures, sending them flying skywards fearing for their lives.

The pop star's pals giggled at his latest exploits as he flaunted a wobbly paunch above his underwear waistband.

His shorts were clinging on for dear life, giving the illusion he'd just returned from the toilet and couldn't be bothered to pull them up properly.

Meanwhile, the tattooed singer has wished Rihanna Happy Birthday on Twitter.

Marking her 24th today, he referred to the star by her real name, writing: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBYN!"

Rihanna replied with a simple "thanks".

Their correspondence comes after Brown recorded a new verse and rap on a remix of her song Birthday Cake.

The track's co-producers, Da Internz, hinted: "The feature on the remix is gonna shock the world."

Their collaboration has stoked speculation the pair are on the verge of a reunion.

Brown sent shockwaves across the showbiz world in February 2009 when he brutally attacked Rihanna in his car, leaving her bloodied and bruised.
