Chris Brown cuts off contact with ex

Chris Brown has cut off all communication with his former girlfriend Karreuche Tran as he thinks they both need to move on.

The rapper recently broke up with his girlfriend of a year over his ''friendship'' with his ex Rihanna - who is he on probation for assaulting in 2009 - and Chris thinks it is better if they don't contact each other anymore.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: ''They not talking. Ain't no shade though, he just wants to be done with it and I know Rihanna does too. It's best for everybody, even Karrueche. The last thing he wants to do is get her caught up again.''

The only contact they had was when Chris helped Karreuche move out of his home last week but now he is hoping they can each get on with their lives.

The insider added: ''He don't f**k with her like that right now and [he's] not [talking] with her either - other than to set up times for her to come get her s**t but that was last week. She still got a few things at the crib, but a lot of her s**t [is] already out.''
