Chris Brown is coming to Memorial Coliseum on April 19

There I was, just having a day. Some good. Some bad. The bad washed away by a listen of the excellent new Ray Wylie Hubbard record, "Grifter's Hymnal." And a return listen to Robert Glasper's "Black Radio." And a little more time with Esperanza Spalding's "Radio Music Society." Plus new M. Ward and new Dandy Warhols.

And then ... Chris Brown, the guy who played Q*bert on the Grammy Awards last month, is coming to Memorial Coliseum.

After that, he teamed up with former girlfriend Rihanna, who he once beat up, on a couple of songs. It's complicated. He's a complicated pop music figure. So complicated that multiple websites are attempting to virtually kill him off.
